Stimulate your senses as you bask in the warm flavors of the Mediterranean. Pure Italian extra virgin olive oil, robust garlic, mellow balsamic vinegar, and our own special blend of spices combine for the most satisfying culinary experience imaginable.



In the early 1990s, the Stephens family was living in Irvine, California. Julie, the mother of the bunch, was in charge of all the cooking that took place in the kitchen, but Marc handled all the grilling. In an attempt to mix things up, he began experimenting with a new marinade for chicken and steaks. The kids became the first fans of the new sauce-Maddie and Ali wanted it on cheeseburgers, while Jolly put it on hot dogs.

Over the years, the sauce continued to evolve under the influence of Marc, and the recipe was finally perfected on Sunnybay Lane, where the family resided in Indianapolis, Indiana. News of the marinade began to spread, and Marc's grilling skills were requested at work, church, and friends’ barbeques. Marc and his sauce were developing their own little following.

The family eventually landed in Park City, Utah, fifteen years after Marc first began dabbling around with the fabled sauce. It was there that Christian, his third son, decided that people everywhere should have the opportunity to enjoy the product, and he approached his dad with a friendly ultimatum: If you don't do something with the sauce, then I will. The decision was a no-brainer for Marc, and the two of them teamed up for an adventure in the food industry.

Since then the sauce has grown into a family project. Julie handles the logistics. Jackson, the oldest son, and his wife Jenna developed an efficient system for placing labels on the jars at family labeling parties. Dusty and his wife Ashley designed and maintain the website. And Jolly, Maddie and Ali bring the sauce to the people at local farmers’ markets.
